Responsible business is a concept where companies naturally and voluntarily incorporate social interests, environmental protection, and ethical aspects into their business strategy.

\nThe aim of such activities is to achieve a balance between economic interests and social and environmental concerns. In other words, the goal is sustainable development. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Responsible Business and its Good Practices<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, the point is that responsible business should not just be a slogan, but a real way of operating that benefits both the economy and people. One of the tools helping companies implement CSR is the Responsible Business Report<\/a>, published annually by the Responsible Business Forum. It's the largest review of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development initiatives in Poland. The report includes examples of good CSR practices from various industries and thematic areas. <\/p>\n

Our Lets-Sign=Lets-Help campaign, Child Alert initiative on DOOH, and the activities of the Explorers' Voyage Foundation were recognized in this year's report.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lets-Sign=Lets-Help<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Deaf people encounter various barriers and difficulties in daily life. They don't have full access to education, information, media, culture, healthcare, or the job market. They are often socially and economically excluded. They lack adequate support from the state and public institutions. <\/p>\n

In September 2022, on the International Day of Sign Language, we initiated and implemented the Lets-Sign=Lets-Help<\/a> campaign. We directed this event at hearing people to raise awareness about deaf people in their environment and encourage them to overcome real communication barriers (lack of knowledge of Polish Sign Language - PSL). <\/p>\n

We used our digital MORE screen. We set up a professional recording studio \u2013 we installed lights, cameras, and invited an expressive PSL interpreter and a deaf person in front of them. Thanks to the camera mounted on the MORE screen, the interpreter could see passersby from her perspective and interact with them, correcting or confirming properly signed phrases. The campaign involved deaf people, hearing people who know sign language, and hearing people who don't know it. Our one-day action also brought long-term effects in the form of a series of short films. They presented basic messages in sign language, which we broadcast on our MORE screens throughout Poland. <\/p>\n

Child Alert on DOOH<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Child Alert<\/a> is an alarm system used to immediately distribute images of missing children through available media. It's a program whose main goal is faster and more effective searching for young people (children and teenagers) through an established procedure. Child Alert can directly save a child's life. <\/p>\n

Time matters, so it's crucial that the message quickly reaches where it's needed. As a partner in the Child Alert program, we cooperate with the National Police Headquarters. We've developed a procedure for launching and canceling alerts. Through MORE screens, we immediately activate the message on all digital out of home (DOOH) screens. Since joining the platform, Child Alert has been announced twice, most recently in 2022. <\/p>\n

Explorers' Voyage Foundation<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Explorers' Voyage Foundation<\/a> was established by our company's owners - Micha\u0142 Ciundziewicki and Marcin Maszewski. They are passionate sailors, friends, and Jet Line partners. <\/p>\n

2022 marked the 11th sailing season. Its main event was the 18th Explorers' Voyage. Each voyage is the culmination of a long-term educational program in the spirit of sail training \u2013 maritime youth education. <\/p>\n

Through sailing adventures, young people learn the importance of work, cooperation, and responsibility. The 2022 Voyage included a group of 26 young people with challenging starts in adult life. The voyages are carried out by a group of dedicated volunteers from our company and the Foundation's alumni. Our goal is long-term work with young people, inspiring them to make choices other than violence and addiction, promoting volunteering and pro-social attitudes. It's also important for us as a company - it integrates people around a shared passion. <\/p>\n
