\nThe 12x4m format is one of the standard formats in use in Poland.
\nAt Jet Line, we have over 400 billboards in 12x4 m format \u2013 300 of them are positioned on routes
\nbetween cities. The entire network forms an evenly designed system that allows for building nationwide advertising campaigns.
\nLarge advertising is very attractive, while the formats offered to clients are very diverse, e.g.: 30x20m, 36x12m, 30x10m, 24x8m, 15x6m, 15x5m, 12x4m, 4.6x1.6m, 3.5x1.2m 18x8, 18x6, 12x8, 30x5, 9x6, 9x4m, 12x11 m, 18x8 m, 25x11m, 10x12m. <\/p>\n
\nConstruction height<\/strong>
\nThe standard for Motorway 12x4 m construction is placing the advertising panel at a minimum height of 12m above ground level \u2013 thanks to this, the advertising poster is perfectly exposed.<\/p>\n

The angle of the advertising panel is adjusted to the observer moving along the road, which increases reception effectiveness. <\/p>\n
\nLighting<\/strong>
\nAll Motorway 12x4 m billboards are illuminated, and we are also conducting research on alternative ways to power the billboards with electricity.<\/p>\n
\nThose that are illuminated usually have lamps only above the top edge of the advertisement, which causes
\nuneven light distribution and poor advertisement visibility.<\/p>\n
\nProduction costs<\/strong>
\nMotorway 12x4 m billboards are adapted for displaying decorations made on bbs paper
\nor on fl vinyl.<\/p>\n
\nwith blackout. Choosing decorations made on regular vinyl means that the sun shines through the decorations,
\nand the entire construction is visible on the advertising poster. The difference in printing cost between 1m2 of bbs paper and 1m2 of vinyl with blackout is eightfold. Taking into account the larger advertisement format,
\nthe difference in production cost can be dozens of times higher. <\/p>\n
\nExhibition aesthetics<\/strong>
\nMotorway 12x4 m are mostly galvanized constructions with metal panels on which the decoration is mounted. Thanks to this, the advertisement is displayed on an even surface, resistant to weather conditions \u2013 e.g., wind force, which can damage, deform or destroy decoration on scaffolding. <\/p>\n
\nholes are cut in the advertisement to reduce air force. Whether this is a desirable solution for brand image, similar to fencing scaffolding with barbed wire \u2013 I leave without comment. <\/p>\n
\nConstruction legality<\/strong>
\nMotorway 12x4 m billboards are legally positioned constructions.
\nWhat about scaffolding? Probably varies. However, it can be stated with certainty that all constructions positioned at distances from the roadway edge other than those provided for by
\nthe Public Roads Act<\/em>, are positioned illegally. Here's how these distances are defined:
\n30m \u2013 for highways in built-up areas;
\n50m \u2013 for highways outside built-up areas;
\n20m \u2013 for expressways in built-up areas;
\n40m \u2013 for expressways outside built-up areas. <\/p>\n
