This can be concluded from the number of articles encouraging recruiters to maintain contact with candidates and emphasizing the importance of good communication in building company image. <\/p>\n
From my experience as a self-taught recruiter, I see that one of the biggest challenges is open communication. I'm not surprised - while both sides have a very similar goal of finding the best match,
\ntheir perspectives are completely different. So we define levels of honesty differently, and when we try to hide something, things get really interesting. <\/p>\n
For example - when a company is ready to end recruitment and offers a position to an available Candidate, believing they've found the best match, the Candidate accepts the offer and agrees to a Start Date, but then doesn't show up. Fortunately, they notify about the change of plans by email, so at least you know they haven't been hit by a car while anxiously heading to their new job...
\nA recruiter's life would be easier if the Candidate had simply been upfront during the interview about participating in several recruitment processes, which is absolutely understandable - after all, hello - they're looking for a job. <\/p>\n
