Advertisements published in the press tell us where New Year's Eve was spent in interwar Poland. Just reading them puts you in a great mood \u2013 see for yourselves.   <\/p>\n<h3>New Year's Eve in Warsaw<\/h3>\n<p>The choice of places was very wide, as reported in December 1938 by Kurier Warszawski \u2013 the most popular Warsaw newspaper at the time, published twice (sic!) a day. Perhaps some remember Cafe Club from history lessons.<br \/>\nBut there are also advertisements for places that still exist today: <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13409 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/jetline.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/6.-1938-Kurier-Warszawaksi-wyd-wieczornre.4.jpg\" alt=\"New Year's Eve in Warsaw _6\" width=\"413\" height=\"208\"><\/p>\n<p>Pre-war Warsaw was a multicultural city.
