At Jet Line on MORE: a Culinary DOOH Romance with the Pandemic in the Background

At Jet Line on MORE Screens

On MORE, we like to inspire. They say man does not live by bread alone, yet food during the pandemic has taken on special importance. The prospect of closed shops and favorite restaurants made us start baking our own bread and making pickles. Experimenting with whatever we found in the fridge.

Research published in "Psychology Today" has shown that in moments of stress, we more often reach for dishes that we associate with pleasant memories. They supposedly excellently calm negative emotions. No wonder that during lockdown times, we discovered culinary skills in ourselves.

We Eat, We Cook, We Inspire

From the beginning, it was clear to me and to all of us at Jet Line that we would like to see our favorite culinary bloggers on them. Especially in times when often the biggest adventure of the day is deciding: what to make for dinner today?

We invited Basia Starecka (http://nakarmionastarecka.pl/) to collaborate. In the summer, Basia reviewed blueberry buns and cheesecakes from Warsaw bakeries on her Instagram channel and on Digital OOH screens. It made our mouths water just looking at them.

With Tosia Koło (https://www.instagram.com/tochabrocha/?hl=pl), we created a contest. The prizes were invitations to dinner at one of the Tri-City restaurants as part of Fine Dining Week. Additionally, each person who scanned the QR code from the screen received a 10% discount to use on the Fine Dining Week website (https://www.instagram.com/p/CErP1WxFyIF/).

Rozkoszny (https://www.rozkoszny.pl/) has been with us almost from the beginning. First, we broadcast his appetizing photos of sweet pastries. At the end of the year, we showed snippets of a film promoting the Polish version of his cookbook.

Qmamkasze, or Maja Sobczak (https://qmamkasze.pl/), needs no introduction. We love her sensual approach to cooking in the spirit of self-care. Maja appeared regularly on our screens for several months. You saw her Instastories from her trip to India on Maja's profile and on ours, on the streets of 6 cities.

At the end of the year, we started collaborating with Ania Zyśk (https://www.instagram.com/jedz.pysznie/?hl=pl). Ania inspired passersby with suggestions for the Christmas table. Well, I won't hide it: "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

And now - did you know that 2021 has been declared the Year of Fruits and Vegetables?
I wouldn't be myself if I didn't take advantage of this beautiful opportunity. Look for MORE in the city, because we'll surely come up with something extra.
But I'll come back to this topic later.
