Do Something for Yourself. Do Something for Others.

Do Something for Yourself

Do something for yourself, do something for others is indeed the motto of our Discoverers' Voyage Foundation, but we also use it at the company. It works perfectly, especially at a time when helping and cooperation are needed and matter.

We will remember Monday, March 16, for a long time. On that day, for the first time, we loudly said something that sounds like heresy in an outdoor company: "If you can #stayhome. See you soon."

And so we stayed.

8 Weeks, 20 Different Campaigns

For 8 consecutive weeks, on digital media in Warsaw, we broadcast aid, social, and educational spots, supporting us and others.
We carried out over 20 different initiatives.
As part of these, we broadcast nearly 50 different spots, and new ones appeared daily. Initially, with sanitary recommendations for safe operation, about reasonable and desired habits in stores, very quickly about Warsaw aid initiatives from organizing community activists and institutions cooperating with them.

The scale of aid initiatives—local, district, urban—often launched spontaneously and without calculation by small entrepreneurs and engaged community activists, is fantastic. This is a pure practice of responsibility and solidarity. We want to remind you of them, because many of them are still active, and above all, let the idea of helping continue to work.

The Mission is Important

The second big thing is the initiatives of cultural institutions, museums, meeting places, libraries… Remember, at first it was about persuading people to stay at home. But then, perhaps, it wasn't just about that anymore. Then a natural need arose to share what we have and what we know. However, the mission is important!

To the places that opened minds, hearts, virtual windows and doors to people, we say: respect and thank you. I wish we would want and be able to repay you. I myself have resolved that with hand sanitizer in my bag, I will visit many museums, cafes, and bookstores. So it's good that there was also plenty of space for gratitude on the screens.

Come, see what happened with us in March, April, and May.

Timeless Initiatives

We broadcast spots drawing attention to issues always important, which had faded into the background, yet their activity during the pandemic proved even more crucial and simultaneously more threatened. The Polish Red Cross appealed to blood donors, the #Pajacyk campaign from PAH highlighted the problem of closed schools and the lack of regular meals for some children.

We cooperated with institutions that, while encouraging people to stay at home, offered online access to collections, art, and history.

Do Something for Others

We broadcast the campaign of the Experts Help platform (initially launched under the slogan StartupsHelp.pl), the WOŚP appeal and the idea of #SolidarityWithBusiness, i.e., the KIG campaign "I won't let you close", supporting small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, heavily affected by our staying at home.

Emotions on Screens

Everyone experienced various emotions in their own way. Psychoedu made sure to calm the extreme ones. Meanwhile, friendly cartoonists looked on with irony or understanding. There was also space for gratitude and thanks.

And What Stays with Us?

Lockdown is by no means an ideal situation for the OOH industry. However, paradoxically, the pandemic period allowed us to utilize the capabilities of our screens and the MORE and MyLED networks.
We know that we genuinely supported many wise and necessary initiatives.
We met fantastic people: they do great things, they are effective, inventive, inspiring.

In short: we did something for ourselves, we did something for others.
