About Good Ideas that are Hard to Come By
The Simplest Ideas are the Best. The Best Ideas are the Hardest to Think of.
Sometimes something goes through our minds, goes and goes and we feel, we KNOW, that this is exactly what it's about, that this is exactly what we're waiting for, and we sort of hear what others around us are saying and that everyone has their own idea and defends it and convinces the rest, but whatever! Already unconscious, inattentive, absorbed in hunting for that one thought of ours - we're just about to catch it, stop it, realize it and just polish it up, when suddenly the phone rings or the door slams and that nice and promising thought of ours gets pushed out by another one, not so nice anymore but louder and stronger, so that nice one gets lost somewhere and no matter how hard we want to dig it out from the darkest brain storage rooms, it's gone forever.
Worse than creative agony might only be unrequited love in elementary school. But falling in love reciprocally is great. Similarly great is coming up with a simple, good idea.
We were looking for an idea for Jet Line's presence in MMP's December supplement, dedicated to what and how happened in advertising over twenty years.
We thought that for Jet Line, as well as for all advertising, everything happened, because Jet Line was founded almost twenty years ago and that alone is reason enough for pride, but then we thought that, for example, Wedel has existed for 162 years.
So we thought that our clients know that Jet Line is OOH, so let them find out how very OOH. OOH, outdoor, out of home.
Outside. In space.
For example, at sea.
Outside the office, after hours, outside of work.
For example, under sail.
Outside the home, away from your duties and tasks.
For example, in the Explorers' Voyage Foundation.
