Proof of play
"Proof of play" is simply the analysis of how and how well scheduled multimedia content is being played. In the context of a Digital OOH campaign, it means you can independently check at any time whether your spot is being aired according to plan—whether nothing has frozen, shut down, or been interrupted.
After all, if you’re responsible for making sure the budget—whether it’s your company’s or your client’s—is used effectively, it’s important to know that everything is working as it should: that the spots were played the declared number of times, at the scheduled times, and in the right locations.
