Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) Exhibition

ISE

From January 30 to February 2, 2024, the technology industry turned its attention to Barcelona, where the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) exhibition took place - the world's largest event dedicated to audio-visual systems and systems integration. Particularly for the Digital Out of Home (DOOH) sector, ISE 2024 proved to be a platform showcasing the latest innovations, technologies, and future strategies that will shape the market in the coming years.

This was already the twentieth ISE exhibition and also a record-breaking one in terms of attendance and number of exhibitors. Over 74,000 unique attendees from 162 countries visited the Fira Barcelona Gran Via exhibition halls. This was a 27% higher attendance than last year. In eight exhibition halls, across 82,000 m2 of space, over 1,400 exhibitors presented their solutions.

The ISE 2024 exhibition offered attendees a glimpse into the future of the Digital Out of Home industry, showcasing a range of innovative technologies and solutions. From ultra-thin LED screens, through integrated content management platforms, to intelligent analytics tools. All of this demonstrates that the DOOH industry is dynamically developing. It offers increasing opportunities for marketers and advertisers. The emphasis on sustainable development and ecological responsibility shows that technological innovations can also go hand in hand with environmental care. This involves lower energy consumption and an extended lifecycle for AV equipment.

ISE is not just an exhibition, as the event is accompanied by an extensive series of conferences and presentations. The Digital Signage Summit accompanying the ISE exhibition offered attendees a rich source of knowledge and inspiration. The dynamic development of the digital signage industry and its growing importance in marketing and public communication were highlighted. Expert presentations, panel discussions, and case studies revealed not only current possibilities but also future directions of development. Primarily, the rapid development of the retail media sector, the evolution of LED technology and content management systems, the use of generative artificial intelligence for content creation, as well as in software and hardware, and the increasing importance of IT security.
