On Jet Line Screens: Self-Care, Meaning Do Something for Yourself.
The kitchen in our office is the center of the Jet Line world. Coffee has replaced the old ways of gathering. At the coffee machine, we discuss the current political, pandemic, and health situation, share information about the best promotions, new campaigns, and family stories. But most of all, we like to stand there and complain. And I don't know about you, but I have a very Polish nature; I love talking about things I have no control over.
Fortunately, there's also the other side, which with age speaks up more and more, where I know when to fight and when to let go (letting go is another name for maturity). The self-care series was created in response to the current, uncertain, and often very stressful time. For our numbing bodies, helplessness, and anger. I wanted the message that would resonate from these spots to be clear: observe. Breathe. Let go. Take care of yourself. You have control over this.
Simplicity and Goodness
Self-care involves daily activities, simple and small ones, that simply improve our well-being. It's mindfulness, care for oneself. In my opinion, it's the best response to what's currently happening on the streets, in our homes, bodies, and hearts. That's why we invited inspiring women who share their self-care methods online to co-create it.
