WWF Earth Hour at Jet Line
WWF Earth Hour on Saturday, March 28. #StayAtHome and turn off the lights for an hour.
Perhaps for the first time, we feel so strongly the importance of environmental care. From Monday, March 23, we are broadcasting special spots on MyLED and MORE screens. And on March 28th at 8:30 PM, we encourage you: turn off the lights during the symbolic WWF Earth Hour. We will also turn off our DOOH screens and the Jet Line neon sign on the roof of the building where our office is located.
This year, the WWF campaign in Poland is held under the slogan "Don't dam rivers! Let them flow" and draws attention to the issue of regulating the natural flow of water in rivers and building dams.

WWF Earth Hour is a unifying campaign! WWF states on its website that approximately 180 countries from 7 continents participate in it every year. At 8:30 PM local time in various cities, landmark buildings will go dark for an hour. It is a symbolic and (un)seen gesture of solidarity with the value of environmental protection and planetary resources.
WWF: the idea is very simple: you turn off the light - you turn on action for the place that gives us life. This global campaign inspires hundreds of millions of people worldwide. As consumers, we have a huge impact on market behavior. As citizens – on legislation.
WWF calls: "Don't dam rivers, let them flow". Until recently, we believed that dams, by serving people, bring many benefits. Why? Because they protect against floods, and the reservoirs created by them collect water during droughts. Furthermore, research conducted by WWF shows that almost half of Poles believe that dams are not harmful to the environment. Meanwhile, it's high time to say loudly: dams are not good for either people or the environment. They are not a protection against floods; they exacerbate the problem of drought, which we will have to face more and more often in the face of climate change. WWF Poland, as part of this year's campaign, presents the truth about dams: https://ww.wwf.pl/aktualnosci/nie-tamujmy-rzek-niech-plyna
