Explorers' Voyage 2016 - in April on Zawisza

The Explorers' Voyage Foundation, established by Michał and Marcin, owners of Jet Line, helps young people set the right course. We organize deep-sea sailing trips on tall ships, primarily taking children and youth who are under the care of childcare and educational centers.

We've just returned from another, our ninth Explorers' Voyage
(you can find the voyage report on the rejsodkrywcow.pl website and more photos and live updates on the foundation's FB profile).

Why sailing? It's actually very simple... because sailing is also out of home.

In reality - the Foundation operates thanks to passion and friendship.
It was established in January 2013 by Michał Ciundziewicki and Marcin Maszewski, sailing enthusiasts, friends and partners running Jet Line.
The Foundation's activity is based on the idea of maritime education for youth and involves implementing a long-term pro-social program.
In the nine voyages so far on the largest Polish tall ships,
140 young people and their guardians have participated.

The mission of the Explorers' Voyage Foundation is to promote a lifestyle model where work, cooperation, friendship, and responsibility are values. Our motto is "do something for others, do something for yourself" and one of our goals is to promote volunteering.

Speaking of volunteering.
The Foundation's work would not be possible without volunteers, employees, and associates of Jet Line - nine Explorers' Voyages mean several weeks at sea, many weeks of recruitment - preparations, meetings, motivating, cheering, checking progress...
It would be difficult to achieve this without the involvement of all people, those who sail and those who stay in the office during this time, substituting for their sailing colleagues.

During the Voyages, we teach our young sailors that we are all one crew.
Creating one good crew is a great challenge.
I think I have the opportunity to be part of such a crew.
